Naturally, our tree surgery work gives us access to hardwood species requiring removal, and we process these using our high volume firewood processor. As you can see from the image on the right, the large storage area available to us in our yard allows us to air dry and season the logs in forklift accessible racks. This is of particular interest to those using firewood for woodburning or multifuel stoves, who need to firewood to have a lower moisture content so that the tar content of the smoke is lower. We can deliver bags, a half load (which equates to a cubic metre of firewood and costs £75), or a full load (which is 2 cubic metres of firewood and costs £145). We offer free local firewood delivery to West Kilbride, Seamill and Portencross to the south, and Largs, Fairlie and Skelmorlie to the north. If you live outwith this area we will give you a delivery price when you place the order for logs.
