The logs we supply are barn dried and kept away from the elements and are well season for purchase. They are all hardwood logs not softwood , softwood burns a lot quicker, doesn't give out as much heat and therefore is less efficient. They all come from sustainable managed resources, well managed woodlands promotes healthy growth of new trees. All our logs are hand cut and split to between 8 to 10 inches so that they are a perfect size to fit most log burning stoves, open fires and chimeneas.
